Answers to common questions from league admins and players using Leagues for private competitive betting tournaments.

What is Leagues?

Leagues is a private competition platform where your group tracks rounds, legs, standings, and season outcomes in one place. It is designed to replace spreadsheets with structured workflows and clear season records.

Do you place bets through Leagues?

No. Leagues does not place bets. Your league members place bets through their chosen third-party betting apps, then record outcomes and leg progression inside Leagues.

How do rounds and legs work?

A round starts with Leg 1. If that leg wins, players can progress to Leg 2 and Leg 3 using your league rules. The round result contributes to points, standings, and season analytics.

Can we run multiple divisions?

Yes. Seasons can be organized by divisions so leagues can track tiered competition, promotion/relegation logic, and separate standings views.

Can admins edit season entries?

Yes. Admin workflows support updates to leg-level records and season imports where needed, including reconciliation workflows for legacy spreadsheet seasons.

How is scoring calculated?

Scoring is derived from leg and round outcomes based on your configured tournament format. Standings update as valid entries are committed.

Is there chat in Leagues?

Yes. Leagues supports ongoing chat experiences so players can discuss rounds, rule clarifications, and season updates in context.

Can we migrate from spreadsheets?

Yes. Leagues supports import-based migration paths so historical entries from spreadsheet-led seasons can be loaded and reconciled.
