Leagues is a private sports tipping and betting syndicate management platform. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to users of the Leagues website and Android app.
Information We Collect
We collect information needed to operate private leagues and app features, including:
- Account details such as name, email address, login credentials, profile initials, and profile icon.
- League, tournament, season, division, round, bet, result, standings, chat, reaction, and administration activity entered by users or league administrators.
- Uploaded league logos, chat images, spreadsheet import files, and related import or audit records.
- Device and notification data, including push subscription details and Firebase Cloud Messaging tokens, when notifications are enabled.
- Basic technical data such as IP address, browser or app environment, timestamps, and logs needed for security, debugging, audit, backup, and service reliability.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide login, league membership, tournament, season, betting record, standings, chat, and administration features.
- Send requested or operational notifications, including chat, round, anchor, and league activity alerts.
- Maintain data integrity, backups, audit history, abuse prevention, security, and support.
- Improve the product and diagnose errors across the web and Android app.
Notifications
If you enable notifications, Leagues stores a push subscription or Firebase Cloud Messaging token linked to your account so we can send app notifications. You can disable notifications in your browser, Android system settings, or app profile settings.
Sharing and Service Providers
We do not sell personal information. We use service providers to operate the platform, including Cloudflare for hosting, API, database, storage, logs, and security services, Firebase Cloud Messaging for Android notifications, and Giphy for GIF search where used in chat. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to Leagues.
Betting and Financial Data
Leagues records user-entered betting activity, odds, stakes, winnings, points, profit, and reconciliation data for league management. Leagues does not place bets, hold user funds, process payments for wagers, or connect directly to betting accounts.
Children
Leagues is not intended for children under 13. Users must be old enough to participate lawfully in their jurisdiction and comply with any rules that apply to betting-related activity.
Data Retention
We keep league and account data while it is needed to provide the service, maintain league history, support backups and audits, resolve disputes, and meet legal or operational requirements. League administrators may manage certain league records within the app.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including authenticated access controls and hosted infrastructure security features. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices
You can update your profile in the app, disable notifications through device or browser settings, and request help with account or league data by contacting us. To request that your account and associated data be deleted, use the Account Deletion Request page. Some historical league records may need to be retained for audit, integrity, backup, dispute resolution, security, or legal and operational requirements.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as Leagues changes. The latest version will be published at this page with an updated effective date.
